- First Term to Second Year
- 0-24+ Units (Certificate) / 0-30 Units (Degree)
Completing a Certificate/Degree:- New/Returning student
- Student achieving Explorer status within one year
- Student ready to declare a major/career goal
Am I an Achiever?
- Second Year to Final Term
- 9-60+ Units
- Transfer/Returning student
- Student completed Navigator status
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Student Success Incentive Program rewards students upon completion of two benchmarks in their academic journey: Completing an Education Plan ($50) or a Progress Check-in ($50).
One-time monetary awards will be provided to currently enrolled students as they complete each of the following benchmarks during their academic journey:
- Benchmark #1: Ed Plan - $50
- Benchmark #2: Preliminary grad check - $50
The Fall Student Success Incentive Program is active from August 12, 2024 through November 4, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible students are automatically opted-in and will be notified when they complete a benchmark.
Beginning in fall term 2024, undeclared students who meet with a counselor and complete a comprehensive educational plan are eligible for the Student Success Incentive Program.
All new and returning students are eligible to participate as long as they have never earned a degree or certificate here or at any other institution.
Not necessarily. If at the launch of the program in Summer Term 2024: the student has already successfully met the requirements of Explorer, then they will only be eligible for Navigator and Achiever awards. If a student is already considered a Navigator, then they will only be eligible for the Achiever award. If the student is already an Achiever, no award is applicable.
Any student who has already graduated or transferred prior to fall 2024 will not be eligible for the incentive program.

AWARDS
Awards are automatically issued toward the end of the semester. If eligible, you will receive an email notifying you of your eligibility and when to expect to receive the funds. Funds will be distributed via BankMobile. Please click BankMobile Disbursements to learn how to create your account. For questions or assistance, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
Important: Please ensure you have your most-up-to date student information (address, phone number etc) on file through the MyChaffey portal – as we use this information to send you funds via BankMobile.
Financial Aid will provide an invitation code to your Panther email. Please ensure you follow the directions to set up your account so that you can select your preferences for receiving the funds.
No. These incentive trajectory funds will only be distributed to you if they do not negatively impact your current financial aid award.

Log onto MyChaffey Portal, click on the “New Student Registration Steps” tab and the orientation is listed under Step 3. Complete an Educational Plan. To obtain an Educational Plan, make an appointment with an academic counselor by visiting the Counseling website.
