What happens after I apply for CPL?

  1. For AP, IB, and CLEP:
    • Students will need to submit official transcripts to Admissions and Records. An email will be sent when official transcripts have been received. Students will need to confirm with Admissions and Records that official AP/CLEP/IB scores have been received.
    • The Transcript Evaluator Office/Admissions and Records will review and process the request. The student will be notified via email when their form has been processed. Their results can be viewed through the Chaffey Portal.
    • If for any reason, the Transcript Evaluator Office/Admissions and Records cannot process a request, they will note this on the form and email the student.
  2. For Military Credit:
    • The Veterans Resource Counselor will process the request and forward it to the appropriate discipline faculty member.
    • The discipline faculty member will review the request and contact the student if needed.
