Governing Board Reports

Classified Senate enjoys reporting out to the Governing Board, administration and the community about Classified Professionals' personal and professional accomplishments. The senate also reports on conferences and workshops that Classified Professionals attend or present at. If you have an item that you would like presented, please send an email to Alyssa Kraus at alyssa.kraus@chaffey.edu.

Fundraising

Each year, Classified Senate conducts fundraising activities to gather funds for student and Classified Professional scholarships. Three fundraisers are typically offered annually, those being the See's Candy Yumraising events in December and March and the Classified Senate holiday luncheon opportunity drawing in December. The support and generosity of Classified Professionals, administrators, and the community is what enables Classified Senate to offer over $2,000 in scholarships each year. If you would like to contribute, please look out for those fundraising opportunities or complete a monthly payroll deduction.

 

Backpack Project Distributions

The Backpack Project is a philanthropy effort to ensure that our students facing financial difficulty, food source or housing insecurity can, at the very least, be afforded the supplies to engage in their studies. For our students whom are so intrepid, so dedicated that they continue pursuing their educational goals even through their personal barriers, a backpack and aid is provided. A brand new backpacks and school supplies - waits to be united with a student in need. Hopefully warmed knowing this campus cares for and wants them to succeed.
