About
Whether you graduated from high school a week ago or 20 years ago, we're confident you'll feel right at home at Chaffey College.
At Chaffey, you can pursue 28 degrees that transfer to four-year universities and colleges. Or you can choose from our broad selection of certificates that can help you get a job or promotion. Maybe you're still in high school and want to get ahead of the pack - we can help with that too!
We offer classes at three Inland Empire locations - Chino, Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga - making it convenient for you to find classes near where you live.
What does the student body look like? It looks like you. The 29,000 students who attend Chaffey every year mirror the diversity of Southern California.
Chaffey's considered a federally-designated Hispanic-Serving Institution because it has a Latino population of more than 25 percent. But you'll find people of many other ethnicities and backgrounds, many represented in our student clubs.
If sports are your passion, you can choose from our 14 athletics programs for men and women. Our Panthers compete in the South Coast Conference and National Central Conference every year.
Does Chaffey offer student support? You bet. Beyond financial aid, counseling and tutoring, we'll help you succeed in many other ways. We provide special services for people such as the disabled, veterans, former foster youth and more. You can even find child care at Chaffey College.
Chaffey College was founded in 1883, making it one of the oldest community colleges in the state. We're proud of our history, and even prouder of our achievements, which include:
- Named top 10 community college in the nation - Aspen Institute, 2017
- Named "One of the 12 Most Innovative Colleges for Adult Learners" - Washington Monthly, 2017
