Dear Campus Community,
Welcome to the 2025 spring semester at Chaffey College.
The start of the new year has been unexpectedly challenging and devastating for so many throughout Southern California. Our hearts continue to go out to those who lost loved ones, their homes and communities in the recent wildfires.
We recognize that many of our own community members continue to be directly and indirectly impacted by high winds that have caused power outages and other dangerous and inconvenient situations. Please know that Chaffey College cares for each one of you and we will draw on our empathy and resiliency during this time. I ask that we each take a little extra time to support one another through this current situation.
We also want to acknowledge that many in our community are feeling a sense of vulnerability, uncertainty and anxiety during this time of great change in our country with a new administration coming in. We wish to express our dedication and commitment to you – Chaffey College is your college, and you are welcome and safe on our campuses. Whether you are undocumented, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or someone who has experienced exclusion – know that you belong here!
At Chaffey, we remain optimistic and grateful for the start of a strong new semester as we welcome back new and returning students to our campuses. Our spring enrollment has officially exceeded where we were at this time in 2020 – a reaffirming reminder of the growing impact Chaffey College is having in our region.
