Transfer Center Advisory Committee

Purpose: A state requirement for managing transfer centers, the primary purpose of the transfer center advisory committee is to work with staff to develop strategies for strengthening the transfer function and increasing the numbers of transfer students, especially among underrepresented student groups.

Scope: Members of the transfer center advisory committee maintain a supportive network and regular communication to develop and support activities and services to promote transfer awareness and increase transfer success.

Reports to: Associate Superintendent of Student Services and Legislative Engagement

Terms of Office: Open

Chairperson: Director of the Transfer Center

Members: Monica Alexander, Kudratdeep Dhaliwal (Adjunct), Doug Duno, RuthAnn Valencia, Michelle Martinez, Sheila Malone, Diana Sanchez or EOPS designee, Melissa Utsler, Chaffey College Student Government President or designee and local university representatives

Meeting day and time: Once a semester, generally on a Friday morning.
