High School Petitions Committee

Purpose: To review incoming high school student appeals petitions for extraordinary circumstances/students to attend Chaffey College.

Scope: The committee will review the high school petition, written statement from student requesting an exception and the letter of recommendation from high school principal stating the students demonstrated academic strengths and maturity and review high school transcripts.

Reports to: Associate Superintendent, Instruction and Institutional Effectiveness

Terms of Office: One year

Members: Amy Nevarez and Charles Prattella

Meeting Day and Time: Meetings are scheduled according to registration dates.

Comments: This committee will need to be available during peak registration times.
