Program Overview

What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment, as outlined under Assembly Bill 288 (AB 288), also known as the College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Act, allows high school students to enroll in community college courses. This program aims to create pathways for students to seamlessly transition from high school to college, providing them with the opportunity to earn college credits while attending high school. Chaffey College provides two Dual Enrollment opportunities for all eligible students. The High School Partnership (HSP) program is tailored for students from specific high school districts. It allows students to enroll in college courses at no cost, including tuition, fees, and textbook rentals. The High School Partnership FLEX (HSPFLEX) program offers more flexible enrollment options for all high school students across California. Students are responsible for some costs, including service fees and textbooks.
